This full-day private tour to Maria Island is a real treat for enthusiasts of the outdoors, nature and photography. Maria Island is home to a thriving population of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies and echidnas. But I have to say that the real star is the wombat (says the wombat-obsessed photography guide)! All these adorable creatures roam freely, offering perfect opportunities for very special encounters and close-up photos. The island itself is a natural Noah's Ark for Tasmanian wildlife. It’s a national park with no motor vehicles, meaning you can explore its serene beauty at a leisurely pace, capturing its essence with each step.
