A Snapshot of this Experience
Join me for a Bird Photography Walkabout where we’ll begin with a ‘talkabout’ to unpack a selected focus topic relative to bird photography. Afterwards, we'll go on walkabout to photograph the birds we see and put some of what we’ve talked about into practice,. All throughout, participants are invited to ask questions and share challenges to add to the conversation. Who knows – a challenge you bring to the conversation might be one that someone else hasn’t yet encountered, while someone else’s question might help you with something you haven’t come across yet. During the walkabout, I’ll continue to offer guidance to everyone while photographing too. I’ll share what I’m noticing, what I’m thinking and how I’m approaching different situations as they unfold. You can ask questions along the way, try things for yourself and explore what works for you. •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊• DETAILS: Where: Dru Point, Margate When: selected dates and times as scheduled Duration: approximately 3 hours Participation fee: $95pp Food and drinks: Appelflap Café @ Dru Point (open 10.00am to 2.00pm) Limited to 6 participants, allowing plenty of opportunity for questions, conversation and guidance along the way. •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊• Please note: This isn’t a workshop in the traditional sense. Our topic gives us a starting point rather than a predetermined lesson plan. Where our conversations take us will be shaped by the questions and challenges participants bring on the day, what we encounter along the way and guided by my experience in bird photography. For this reason, no two walkabouts will ever be quite the same.
Payment, Amendments and Cancellation
The following booking, payment and cancellation terms apply specifically to Small Group Activities. •◊• BOOKING AND PAYMENT Booking in advance is required Full payment is required at the time of booking If you choose manual payment and payment is not received within 2 days, your booking may be cancelled and your place reopened for someone else to book (unless alternative arrangements have been made). •◊• CANCELLATION Please be aware that booking and payment transaction fees are a non-refundable portion of the participation fee. This is accounted for in the following: • You have up until 24 hours before the start time to reschedule or cancel your booking. If you reschedule, there'll be no additional fee. However, if you cancel your booking, you can opt to receive a refund of the amount you paid less an administration fee of $25. • No refund is available for bookings changed or cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, including no-shows. • If we need to amend or cancel your booking for any operational reason, we will credit or refund the amount you paid in full (i.e. no transaction fee will be deducted) •◊• OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS Our general terms and conditions relating to matters such as health and safety, weather, privacy and the use of photographs and video also apply where relevant.
