Scroll down for a detailed summary. •◊•◊•◊• Venture into Tasmania’s southern forests to Hartz Mountains and Tahune Forest Reserve. From tranquil glacial lakes and misty rainforests to treetop walkways and swinging bridges, this day offers endless opportunities to discover, experience and photograph. We’ll travel through the Huon Valley where charming historic towns sit among picturesque rolling hills, reflective rivers and distant peaks. In Hartz Mountains National Park, we wander through landscapes shaped by ancient glaciers, winding through rainforest of myrtle, sassafras and groves of pandani, then across alpine moorland to Lake Osborne – a serene glacial lake fringed by ancient King Billy pines. We pause often to notice delicate mosses and fungi and vibrant alpine flora, with time to thoughtfully compose images or capture spontaneous moments. Continuing to Tahune Forest Reserve, we'll walk among the treetops of towering blackwoods, myrtles and sassafras on the Tahune Airwalk. From high in the canopy, take in sweeping views of surrounding mountains and the confluence of the Huon and Picton rivers. Back at ground level, we’ll explore a tranquil grove of ancient Huon pines and cross swinging bridges suspended above the mighty Huon River. Wallabies, echidnas and a variety of birds may make an appearance as we meander along the forest paths, camera at the ready. As we retrace our journey to Hobart, you’ll hold meaningful memories and photographs that reflect the beauty and diversity •◊•◊•◊• TOUR SUMMARY • Duration: 9–10 hours • Recommended 8:00am departure – flexible on request • Private tour for 1–4 guests, priced by group size • Ideal for outdoorsy photographers and non-photographers – or a mix of both • Door-to-door service – private return transport from your Hobart hotel or arranged location • Option for self-drivers to start and end the tour in Huonville or Geeveston • Cruise excursions tailored to ship schedules, departing from and returning to Hobart cruise terminal • INCLUDES private transport and guide, guided interpretive walks, photography guidance, national park entry, Tahune Airwalk entry, light refreshments and drinking water • Lunch is additional – a picnic lunch will be pre-ordered and collected on the day, with payment made by you at the time of collection.

Our standard Booking Terms and Conditions, including amendments and cancellations, are always available to view at www.shutterbugwalkabouts.com.au/booking-terms-and-conditions (you’ll also find a link in the footer of every page on our website). •◊•◊•◊• TERMS FOR PHOTOGRAPHY DAY OUT BOOKINGS •◊• PAYMENT • A $250 deposit is required to confirm your booking • Balance is due 45 days before the booked date • Full payment is required for all bookings made less than 45 days before the booked date. •◊• AMENDMENTS • A $50 amendment fee may apply to changes made to your booking. • Non-recoverable experience partner costs associated with your original booking may also apply, along with any additional costs for the new arrangements. •◊• CANCELLATION • 46 or more days before the booked date - You may choose to receive either: • Full travel credit of payments to date, less any non-refundable experience partner costs (if they apply) OR • Refund of payments to date. Non-refundable experience partner costs and an administration fee equal to 7.5% of the total experience cost will be deducted. • 45 to 15 days (inclusive) before the booked date - You will incur a cancellation fee equal to 20% of the total experience cost plus any non-recoverable experience partner costs. • 14 or fewer days before the booked date – or in the case of a no-show – 100% of total experience cost, no refund or travel credit available •◊•◊•◊• If we need to amend your booking for any unforeseen operational reason, agreed changes will be made with no additional cost to you. If we need to cancel your booking for any unforeseen operational reason, we will offer you a voucher or refund of the full amount paid (no deductions). •◊•◊•◊•
