An interactive conversation exploring common challenges encountered when photographing wildlife.

A Snapshot of this Experience

Bring your camera. Bring your questions. Join me for a 1.5-hour photography conversation about wildlife photography, with a focus on helping you make more confident choices in the field. Wildlife Photography Outings are an opportunity to bring your questions and challenges into the conversation. Each session begins with a selected wildlife photography topic before the conversation unfolds around the questions, experiences and challenges that arise. Who knows – a challenge you bring to the conversation might be one someone else hasn’t yet encountered, while someone else’s question might help you with something you haven’t come across yet. Afterwards, you’re welcome to make the most of your day at the sanctuary and put what we’ve talked about into practice for as long as you wish. I’ll be staying on for a couple of hours to photograph the the critters at Bonorong – and you’ll be very welcome to photograph alongside me if you like. Please note: This isn’t a workshop in the traditional sense. Our topic gives us a starting point rather than a predetermined lesson plan. Where the conversation takes us will be shaped by the questions and challenges participants bring on the day, guided by my experience in wildlife photography. For this reason, no two outings will ever be quite the same. •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊• DETAILS: Where: Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary When: selected dates, 10.00am for a 10.30am start (allows time to grab a coffee from the café first) Duration: 1.5 hours + optional walkabout to photograph alongside me for a couple of hours Outing fee: $85pp + Bonorong entry fee (pay at the gate or use your annual pass) Food and drinks: Available for purchase from ‘The Burrow’ café on site Limited to 6 participants •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊• UPCOMING OUTINGS: • Saturday 19 September 2026 - Starting topic: Ways to achieve sharper photos of wildlife • Saturday 24 October 2026 - Starting topic: Capturing wildlife behaviour and interactions
