Wildlife Photography Walkabout

A guided experience to practise, learn and develop your wildlife photography skills.

A Snapshot of this Experience

Join me for a Wildlife Photography Walkabout at Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary – a chance to practise photographing wildlife, experiment with different approaches and learn from what unfolds along the way. Different animals, light, conditions and photographic opportunities will naturally present a range of challenges and possibilities – and we’ll explore them as they arise. The wildlife we encounter helps shape the experience – bringing questions to explore, challenges to work through, discoveries to make and those satisfying moments when something comes together. Throughout the walkabout, you’re encouraged to ask questions, share challenges you’ve encountered and try things for yourself. A question you ask might be something someone else hasn’t yet considered, while someone else’s question might help you with something you haven’t come across yet. As we photograph, I’ll share what I’m noticing, what I’m thinking and how I’m approaching different situations as they unfold. I’ll offer guidance along the way too – whether that’s choosing camera settings for the situation in front of you, considering your position or perspective, making creative choices or simply figuring out why something isn’t quite working the way you envisage. With support close at hand, you’ll have the opportunity to put different approaches into practice, ask questions when they arise and better understand the choices you can make in different situations. Each encounter adds to your experience, helping you develop your photography skills and become better prepared for the range of wildlife encounters that may come your way. •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊• Where: Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary When: selected dates and times as scheduled Duration: 3 hours Participation fee: $95pp + Bonorong entry fee (pay at the gate or use your annual pass) Food and drinks: Available for purchase onsite from ‘The Burrow’ café (open 10.00am to 3.00pm) Limited to a small group of up to 6 participants, allowing plenty of opportunity for individual questions and guidance while still benefiting from the conversations and experiences shared within the group. •◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•◊•
