For ten days in November, Jo and Di joined me for an unhurried adventure shaped by laughter, shared humour and time spent out in nature with cameras in hand. With ever-changing weather, unexpected wildlife encounters and plenty of moments that unfolded naturally, our days together were less about chasing scenes and more about enjoying the experience as it revealed itself.

When a two-day private photography tour met unpredictable Tasmanian weather, flexibility and good humour led the way. From rain and wind to sunshine and rainbows, Dianne and I adapted our plans and discovered that sometimes the most memorable moments happen when nature decides the itinerary.

A fleeting sunrise, fourteen quick handheld frames and a stitched panorama that challenged the 'musts' of gear – and proved the real value of feedback in photography.
